MY STORY

Russel Barrie is a novelist and author of short fiction who hates writing about himself.  Most bios end up sounding like an obituary, but he is very much alive and writing. 

               He was born in Edmonton, Canada and studied history at the University of Alberta, then abroad at Cambridge UK.  He is a former University Professor and writes full time to pursue a lifelong passion.  He has taught in Canada, toured battlefields in Europe and driven tractors in Australia.  Now, he lives in British Columbia with his wife, whom he adores, and his sons who will always be his greatest creations no matter how many books he writes.
